My new book about the mental aspect of salesmanship is now out and available as an E-Book at Amazon and iBooks (and many other places as well). I've spent most of my professional life working with performance oriented professions and organizations, and I've found the similarities between the professional athlete and the salesman to be striking; both immediately see the effects of their performance - they either fail or succeed. Such jobs have high degrees of pressure, and consequently set high demands for the athletes and salesman’s willpower. I've always found that willpower is the most important factor when it comes to sales; there are no products that truly sell themselves - the human factor is always what sells your product. You, as a salesman, are the human factor, It is YOU who sells the product. While you may or may not realize it, your willpower is the essential attribute that makes you a good salesman; it is your willpower that enables you to conquer your fear of new clients and gets you through the dry spells. Willpower for Sale deals extensively with the salesman's willpower and his mentality. The book provides you with a valuable insight into your own mind, and teaches you methods how to improve your willpower - making you a better salesman. Besides the individual minds of the [...]
Despite the famous Mercuri ethics, a hidden bankruptcy is currently taking place in the danish branch of Mercuri International. Mercuri’s core values, which are proudly displayed on their countless international websites, have now been completely abandoned in favor of hiding cash from creditors. If you work with Mercuri International and believe their associates live by those core values in regards to sales or management, the following information should leave you questioning whether Mercuri Management actually have any concept of ethics and morals at all. In the dead of night, a company named “Aktieselskabet af 21 Maj 2015” was created, and subsequently all Mercuri’s assets (and debts) then transferred to it – finally, this little puppet-company was declared bankrupt and came under administration. This little business trick made sure that the bankruptcy would remain a secret (at least until now). The facts behind this type of hidden bankruptcy is, that the heads of Mercuri Group (consisting of Frank Herbertz and Carl Olav Mathias Pilhage) had declared the danish branch of Mercuri bankrupt. What they gained by this “transaction”, was the ability to fire all employees, tear up their contracts and to make sure that no external consultants or business partners (like myself) received due payment for our services. Regarding my services, I can inform you that I provided instructional services for Mercuri Denmark [...]

The book is written as a practical textbook for those who wish to learn the basic methods and techniques of hypnosis and trance; it is not an extensive theoretical work on hypnosis. It is my experience that the basic techniques or the more traditional ways of working with hypnosis have been overlooked in favour of more or less sophisticated “clinical” methods. This book aims to remedy this. Becoming a competent hypnotist first and foremost requires learning the basic methods and techniques. In all the jobs I have had over the past 35 years, hypnosis has proved a useful tool for working with other people. I [...]

Has it become spring in Danish Football Union? There are probably many who are holding their breath, crossing fingers fore that there now will be made a proper spring cleaning in DBU, we are counting on that the new president and the new CEO can chance years of conservative power and nepotism in DBU management and culture. Lately we have all read about the former president that he before he retires makes himself a decent severance fee; I dare not think about how many of these, have been given to and between friends in DBU through time! Now is the hope of all the volunteers, all competent football people in Denmark that the DBU will be well and thoroughly grasp the clean no, so there can be a culture change for a more performance-oriented and better culture for everyone. Should this happen, it needs to be addressed at all levels of the organization, I will be glad to have an answer on whether there has been unwarranted gifts of travel, etc. not declared to the tax. I would like to know about how the fees are paid and whether they were Danish taxed? I would like to be able to see who has already taken trainer licenses and who their examiners are, in order to ensure that DBU not give away titles [...]
When do they learn? Team Saxo Bank- Tinkoff and a variety of professional cycling teams trying, as in the professional football, to buy their victories - their points. But each time they try, around the corner a young talent with the right will comes along and beats all the expensive boys. Why? It is my firm belief that when the sport - the team, is controlled by businessmen and not by people driven by the development of human potential, it messes up the the things actually related to the sportspeople involved; the body, the physique and the mind. Management and the persons that should train increasingly looks after the business instead of potential and skill. The sponsors are influencing procurement policy and their priorities are anything but human development or team development towards the optimum in a sport. Team, and team owners selling their otherwise dedicated soul to sponsors of gradually rather suspicious persuasions. Sponsors, however, has long since sold their souls to Satan or whatever we should call the depraved souls home. All in all it will be the young athletes who come in on that last lap who lose their development, instead going into partnership with the merchants to earn quick money. Doped or not, it does not matter - you will be forgotten tomorrow.
